The Village Of Norton, the Norton Rec Council, and the Norton Legion are all pleased to invite you to join us for a tree lighting ceremony this Friday, Nov. 30 at 7pm at the Municipal Building in Norton. There will also be carol singing, refreshments, and a visit from Santa.
As well, there will be a gingerbread house contest. There is a $2 entry fee and the winner takes all. So go ahead and get creative and make an awesome gingerbread house!

Haunted House in Norton
The Norton Recreation Council will be presenting frightful fun and ghoulish games this Friday evening from 6:30-9:00pm at the Sacred Heart Church Hall in Norton. There will be prizes, candy, games, and a witch's kitchen. And for the bravest of souls, they can venture down through the witch's lair if they dare. Everyone is welcome to attend (even parents) so come out and have some pre-Halloween fun.
If anyone is willing to be a character, corpse, or spooky spectre in our haunted house, or if you would rather help supervise some games or activities, please contact us at nortonreccouncil@gmail.com and let us know how you would like to help.

We Have A Sign!
I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend. In playground news, the new sign for the playground and park arrived last week. Here is a photo:
Thank you to Shaw Signs for making this for us!

More Thanks
We have forgotten to mention a thank you to the welders who came and helped us prepare the site for the new playground equipment. So a big THANK YOU to Kings County Mechanical for all the welding.
And a thank you to the St. John Ambulance for being onsite during Build Day.
Enjoy the wet weather. Stay dry. Have fun.
